TSB existing customer offer
it seems the contactless and direct debit offers are only for the new customers. Does anyon know what offer can existing customers get, apart from the 3% interest rate? Had the account since its 1st launch, so it has been a while.

How am I am getting 3% interest with H/fax rewards and got £100 for transfer to H/fax
Hi, I had a Nationwide flexaccount. Had 2 direct debits payable to Tesco bank accounts in my name. Each direct debit is for £1 only. Put £100 into N/wide. Transferred N/wide to H/fax rewards. Got £100 for transfer. Very simple exercise and easy money to be made. Done similar with M&S and Co-op. HTHs.

Can someone please explain this to me?
Hi, I'm with TSB on their normal current account where I get upto £5 for using contactless. Here MSE talks about their new one and says 'WITHOUT SWITCHING'. What does that mean? I called them and they said I couldn't have it. So who's right? Thanks.

N&P Direct Debits
It would appear Norwich & Peterborough Building Society are not handling the transfer of direct debits correctly. So if you have any that you think should've transferred over in the switching process, check, as you'll probably find they haven't been, and you'll get landed with bounced DD fees. After speaking to one…

Hi everyone, I want to close my Tesco current account. My question is, will I be able to keep my credit card and my unsecured personal loan open or will they make me pay them both off if I close the current account? I've looked in the T&Cs and can't find anything that relates to my question. Thanks so much in advance for…

Unrecognised direct debits
More than once I've had an unrecognised direct debit! Why companies use a different name from what they are known as is very bad business practice and annoys customers. It would be nice if there was somewhere were the names could be listed along with who eventually the actual company is (if traced). This week the culpret…

M&S Bank Not Great
I recently switched one of my accounts to M &S Bank. I can't say I am impressed by them. The lack of a proper mobile banking app is disappointing. Though, I can log in via my mobile browser. It is annoying to have to use the pin generator every single time I want to log in. I am wondering how long it lasts for and what…

TSB - 'arrangement to pay'
Hi all Well, as the knowledgeable amongst you will know, there is such thing as an 'arrangement to pay' (AP) whereby a lender (of any kind) can take reduced payments for an outstanding debt. An AP can be viewed negatively by lenders when recorded on your credit file. On this point, I've kind of been screwed by TSB. Until a…

Unknown money paid into my current account
Hello, I was checking my current account balance today and a deposit of £82 from "MBNA LTD" was paid in yesterday. I don't own any credit cards, so I am unsure where this is from? Any advice where it could be from or how I could find out? 15 years ago I had an EGG credit card that I paid off and have not used in 10 years.…

Large amount bank transfer
Hello I have to transfer £11000 to a solicitor for a deposit on a house. My banks limit is £10,000 per transaction so I can either do it in 2 transactions (will cause delay) or go into branch and do it in one. My question is if I do it in branch who's liability is it if it goes wrong? I trust myself but a stranger doing…
