Greetings. Could you please tell me if it is possible to change the currency in the downloaded version of the spreadsheet to another currency (not UK pounds)? I would like to change it to South African Rands. Many thanks

Has anyone used the budget planner lately - data into categories beyond the first one isn't saved when entered.

The spreadsheet is described as "OpenOffice compatible". Is it also LibreOffice compatible? The latter product is favoured over the former these days and MSE itself doesn't give OpenOffice a mention when suggesting free software.

For piggy banking, I have two accounts. My main account is where my wages are paid and where my DD pay out. My DDs are the same each month so I deduct that from my wages and transfer them to my ‘STARLING’ bank account

Starling allows you to create ‘goals’ where you can put money in and deducts it from your available balance. When you spend, part from fuel, the amount auto deducts so you always know what you have available. The fuel isn’t an issue as I keep recipes. I even have a piggy for fuel, where I put £80 a month into it and then move money out of it into my available balance each time I spend.

It’s an app only bank and auto categorises your spending for the month. It is a god send and would be ideal for those who cannot open multiple accounts due to poor credit history

    Thanks!
