Debt Colllection Agency Threats 13th Feb 18 at 8:14 PM
A company I have dealt with the past are claiming I owe them £45 they sent me a letter and I didnít get around to contacting them. In the meantime they have passed this onto a debt collection agency who are threatening legal action.
How far can they go? Given I have a perfect credit history ( have always paid my debts on time ) and have only ever taken a student loan

They could take you to court for it, someone had legal action taken for a £15 debt last month, but its unlikely.

If you dispute the debt send the provit letter to them, available from the sticky thread.

DCAs are subject to FCA rules. Send the prove-it and make them investigate.
