Having A Samsung Nightmare! 12th Feb 18 at 5:18 PM
We are experiencing a total nightmare with Samsung. We bought a Samsung S8 mobile direct from Samsung in December and it just keeps dropping calls. We complained to Samsung and they initially said it was probably a network issue or a problem with the phone's sim. We duly spoke to our network (EE) who were very helpful and immediately supplied us with a fresh sim... the problem persisted.

Once more we contacted Samsung and asked for the phone to be replaced. We had paid £900 to them for the phone and even though it was less than 10 weeks old it was not fit for purpose as we can't make calls. Having been bounced from one overseas call centre after another we were eventually told it would be replaced before that person closed the line and we were left in limbo.

We launched a complaint via "Resolver" and were told someone would be in touch within 48 hours... 6 days on, not a sniff from Samsung. We then went down the "Email the CEO" route.. same thing. No response at all.

We now find ourselves £900 out of pocket with a phone that is of no use, and we have no idea which way to turn as Samsung just will not respond... Does anyone have any ideas as to what we can do?

So what happened when you tested the phone with a Vodafone or Three or O2 sim?

You arenít actually entitled to a replacement after 10 weeks, the company is entitled to attempt remedy via repair first.

There are Samsung service centres in many cities now where you can walk in for service if you didnít want to post the phone away.
