Highview Parking - Think they are mistaken 8th Feb 18 at 8:36 PM
    Hello,
Received a letter from these guys for parking on a retail park on 27/01/18 and over staying .
Time in. 10:38 time out 19:32
I cannot remember 100% what I did that day but I 150% certain I did not leave my car at that retail park for 9 hours, I had bought the car the week before itís a soft tip and Iíve been very precious about it, careful parking, good locations, and all in all not leaving it too long anywhere let alone 9 hours. I may have been to that retail park that day but it would have literally been a 10 minute visit . There are 2 pictures on the letter which seem to be of the car in motion, not parked anywhere . How can I prove this letter is wrong ? Do I have to pay ? I will try recall in more detail what I was doing that day but I can tell you I categorically did not spend 9 hours at the retail park . Any help much appreciated .

Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the newbies faq thread near the top of the forum

Go there now to learn about the game you are caught up in and how to go about making your initial appeal right through to court hearing should it come to that

Throughout you are advised never to reveal who was driving

You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving

On closer inspection both pictures are of the car in motion going past the car park, the car was new and I drove it around town a lot that first week so could have gone past that area a few times none of the pics are of it parked up. I may have visited twice but doubt it, I do genuine think it!!!8217;s just pictures of me driving past the area a couple of times

so , were the pictures taken on a public road or did you enter private property several times?

and YES the car would be in motion , as you drove past a ANPR camera

Highview are saying that your car was there for nine hours. They have absolutely no idea who the driver was. Keep it that way and follow the suggestions that Quentin has made.

But then this is Highview so just use the usual wording you find when you search the forum for:

    Highview skedaddle

Submit that wording, as keeper (NOT driver) at 9am tomorrow. You'll have it cancelled by close of play.
