    ~Make upto £10 a day February 2018~ 31st Jan 18 at 9:54 PM
    Hello and welcome everybody

This is the 126th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. A link here to the original thread as I am sure some of you are interested to read where it all began.

Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, lynnejk and ALL posters, for helping us to keep the thread going. Thanks to previous challengers who used to run this thread too, Rawdinosaur, Emmaglet, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose, MizMir.

I have decided to rename this challenge as reading posts, it seems to put people off thinking they HAVE TO make £10 a day.

    You don't.

The original purpose of this challenge was to help people to try and make an extra £10 a day on top of their normal income to help things along. Ie paying off debt, making savings, paying for holidays, overpaying mortgages etc.

That is exactly what this challenge is about, attempting to make extra income on top of your normal income to help you wherever you need it.

People start the challenge by setting a goal of £1 a day. Then when they find they are smashing this regularly, they up it to £5 a day. Some of us gluttons for punishment go for £10 a day. It really is entirely upto you. We only ask you to post what your goal is to help you keep motivated. Some days you make more and some days you make less, but aim for extra at the end of the month.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

    What cannot be added:
    Wages from your main job

    What can be added:
    Overtime
    Income from a second job
    Daily clicks
    Interest
    Vouchers
    Mystery shopping
    And much, much more.

This board moves pretty quickly, so be sure to subscribe and read it regularly.

    Link to previous thread.

So who wants to kick 2018 into a financially working for you year?

Join this challenge and let's make those bank accounts fat, mortgages paid off, holidays paid off, savings account grow fatter, debts paid off and much much more!!!

    Happy birthday for tomorrow jess.

Hope you have a lovely day.

Feeling a bit "Cant be ar*ed" with money making myself at the minute.

Been really busy at work and we seem to be carrying one particular member of the team which makes it hard work. The powers that be know about the issues but nothing seems to be getting done. It cant go on.

Cant seem to get games on swagbucks to work......says cant find plug in or some such piffle and I dont know how to put it right.

Think I need a few days off money making as well till I get my oomph back.

Great to see others having a profitable month.

Early night with book is where Im heading soon.

    Evening all.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Jess, hope you have a great day, and enjoy spoiling yourself. Sometimes I don't think we do it enough...I certainly don't anyway.

Shariann, hope things pick up for you soon!!

Aesop thanks for the TCB answer. An entry into the prize draw today. Got one of the three required £0.50 prizes yesterday. Hope you get your washing machine sorted soon. Such a pain when something like this should have been sorted properly first time round. Must be frustrating for you!

Swago board also submitted - thank you for the tip off again

    £12.85 from matched betting
£23.50 from a "low risk" casino sign-up offer (said I'd never venture into casino/slot type offers, but was assured this one was particularly low risk, and it proved so - not something I'll make a habit of)
    £0.10 citizen me
    £36.45 total today

Your plan to treat yourself a bit sounds lovely. I could do with a day like that myself but there'll be no chance anytime soon. Have a great day

Really just popped in to say I've just received £23.15 payout from PA. I was online so intermittently since late December and right through January so probably missed lots of survey opportunities but have been doing OK on there this month. Short/low-paying studies anyway. I was shocked to see that I had this much accrued in my PA account from before Christmas. Not like me to leave money unclaimed

It's horrible when you have a work colleague who isn't pulling their weight, I can sympathise with you there. Been there, done that too many times to remember. It's especially hard when management or whoever don't seem to be doing anything about it. I hope it works out for you very soon

Very quiet on here today, apart from me rabbiting on

Paid my telephone landline in one go today instead of by my usual monthly instalments, That's going to be a saving of £2.50 a month/£30 a year. Can I add this as moneymaking please Aesop and Lynne even though it's more like money saving?

I'm around.........despite yesterdays doldrums.......I just cant not do anything at all in the moneymaking world. Been doing it for so long that it becomes habit.

Went for an extra long walk this morning. Was out for 2 hours 45 mins. Certainly blew the cobwebs away and cleared my head!

Well done on the PA payout CBC Ive got out of the habit of checking. When I do there are no surveys but I guess I dont check often enough.

Anyway......despite me not being in the mood for money making....a few things have come good.

    Swagbucks £10
    Yesterdays tips £5.90
First payout since the Onepulse change £3.75

And managed to get games on swagbucks working again.

Now I just need to keep my gob shut at work tomorrow and keep calm when all I want to do is shout about how someone is getting away with doing the least amount of work possible.

    £12.01 today matched betting.

In agony tonight....I was sat on the sofa, not long after getting home from work, and sneezed. I got such a sharp pain in my lower right chest, just under my rib cage, and since then have barely been able to move. Ibuprofen and a deep heat patch is just about making it bearable. I was supposed to be playing football earlier, but had to cancel obviously. Felt like the worst cop out ever....who gets themselves in such a mess just by sneezing!?

I am trying to make more effort to post but today had to come home early and wait for engineers to replace stone in washing machine. So while doing that been trying to catch up on Scout accounts and forgot how to add expense headings on quic£books. I really need to get on top of it as loads paying in things by different methods.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had an excellent day, bought myself a nice bracelet, a book, had a much needed haircut, but best of all I went for lunch on my own and it was bliss! I never used to like eating it on my own as I felt awkward, but knowing I could sit there for as long as I liked and eat as slowly as I wanted without rushing as danger baby will wake up and cry or just need me was brilliant. Just what I needed!

Now I feel refreshed and ready to make some more cash for the weekend and deal with baby teething (he's getting 8 teeth all at the same time : shocked: ).
