Short term investment 13th Jan 18 at 9:35 PM
Hi. I am about to inherit £13K. We are currently in the process of selling our house/buying a new one and this money would be our stamp duty. I already have some premium bonds so was wondering about adding this money to them. Are they any other ideas? Many thanks

How long before you need that cash?
Remember that Premium Bonds don't go into the first draw after purchase, so you've no chance of winning anything for 4-9 weeks after investing.
See the Top Savings Accounts link above for better places for short term money.
