    Hi,

I did a joint application (Well my broker did) for me and my partner through Skipton and Halifax. We got declined and i assume its because of her credit (she had payday loans, defaults, unpaid loans etc etc)

If we have been declined together does this mean that if i try on my own it will link to our dual application and i will instantly be declined on my own?

Please Help as they were two good ones for 10% deposit on new build propertys

From one of your earlier threads it appears your credit history wasn't perfect recently.

you need a new broker I suspect who specialises in adverse credit. Did you give all 3 credit files for both of you to the broker?

Halifax only lends 90% on specific builders' property and via specific specialist newbuild brokers.

If that is all your bad credit and you can afford it on your steam, then it may be best to apply on your own.

Some lenders won't like this, some won't be bothered.

    One for a broker.
