    Hi all im new to all this and just sorting out my financise on doing so i've come across a CPP Card protection renewal notice i've looked into this and have started to fill in the template form but it asks [insert name and address of bank you held your account with I can not remember ever taking it out or been offered it so i rang the company and they don't have any info on what bank it was taken out with all they said is i would have rung a number on the rear of a credit or debit card on ringing them i have found out i've been paying for this service since oct 1999
    im at a loss now on what to do next so any advice would be great

    Cancel it directly with CPP, assuming you no longer want it.

    i no longer want it never used it or even new i still had it everything renewed automatically they just took money out in december i only noticed it as i looked at my bank statement !!!!
    if i cancel it im sure i wont get a refund ?
    i don't want it or need if from what i have been reading and from reading i should be able to claim back ?

    The CPP claims window closed some years ago.

    However, you can still claim a refund of CPP premiums paid before 2005 with the lender who sold it to you.
