Boarding Kennels Bangor North Down updates please 12th Jan 18 at 9:11 AM
    Hi
I see the kennels threads (North Down & Bangor) haven't been updated for a few years and I've a timid Golden Retriever I need to board in July in Bangor area. Grateful for any reviews or experiences with local kennels please.
    Thanks

Not a dog owner myself but a family member and a friend both use http://littlepawzni.co.uk/ It's in the Craigantlet hills so not too far from Bangor.

Both dogs have been multiple times and, from what I've been told, have a great time when they are there!

    Hope this helps.

So, I'm keen to hear of other good reports as well.

I always leave my Shih Tzu with a pet minder as he likes his home comforts and I don't think he would cope in kennels. I would highly recommend PetminderNI who are based in Bangor. Charmayne is fantastic.

You could try home from home boarding if your dog is timid, it might get on better with that. If you're looking July you'd need to be quick, most are already booked up

We use http://www.juliesdogshouse.com/ for our dog. We've used others and he has always come back stressed but Julie and her staff really look after him and he goes in happy and comes out happy. It's more expensive than some but well worth it
