Grant for white goods? 9th Jan 18 at 1:39 PM
Friend is severely disabled and on a low income. She has heard that British Gas Energy Trust has previously been able to supply free white goods to those who qualify.

Anyone know if this scheme is still in operation please?

    From BG website

Due to severe pressure on the Trust's budgets, awards will only be made to the highest priority cases e.g. applicants in extreme hardship and with exceptional/multiple vulnerabilities. If you have received debt advice before applying, you will have a greater chance of success.
