Change jobs after mortgage offer but before exchange of contracts 8th Jan 18 at 1:39 PM
    Hi

Me and my partner have been offered a mortgage on Shared ownership, and we are just waiting for the legal side of things to be completed before we move in. However my partner has a potential new job opportunity, the salary will increase also. Do we need to tell our housing association and mortgage company if the job is accepted?
Thought iíll Post on here to check as donít want there to be an issue if we tell them but we donít need to tell them.

    Thanks

You have a duty to report any material change in circumstances to the lender right upto completion.

Not worth the hassle, even with the job change you won't be changing for at least another month, because of handing in your notice etc.
