Payments on account. 7th Jan 18 at 4:54 PM
Just completed this years return, and the 2 payments on account from last year do not appear in the calculation.

I cannot see where prior payments on account can be entered - only if you want to adjust future payments on account.

Are they simply handled as a deduction when you go into the YouGov payments.

    Thanks
    Iain

    A) You have calculated your tax liability.
    B) You have paid two payments towards this liability.
It should follow that you subtract B from A

Your statement will be adjusted in the next few days.

PoAs appear in your account. You don't enter them, you either accept them, ask HMRC to change them - before the due date, then pay them.

The payments on account don't show on the tax calculation when you complete your return.

They will show on your statement of account once the tax calculation has been processed by the system.
