Getting Rid of Unwanted Alcohol 7th Jan 18 at 12:57 PM
    Hi Guys,

Any of you out there ever tried selling unwanted alcohol? Christmas has left me with a number of bottles of booze which if bought from a shop could run into the hundreds of pounds and I simply won’t drink them.

Any ideas for selling? I think eBay prohibits due to licensing laws or something.

    Cheers

Because of licensing laws it will be very difficult to sell. Would any friends/family be interested?

Auction houses often hold alcohol licenses, so maybe contact one of them. Most auctions I go to have lots consisting of several sealed bottles, and they always sell. Obviously after fees etc you won't be looking at anywhere near retail, but it's better than nothing.

Save it for future Christmases. Alcohol doesn't usually go off if its not opened.

Thanks all. I guess keeping to re-gift and then any money I would have spent can be saved etc, as if getting the cash for them.

    Thanks!
