credit score 5th Jan 18 at 2:04 PM
Hi there, can someone please confirm that if my ex-husband is bankrupt and we have a joint mortgage would this affect my credit score as we are associated financially?

He is now discharged but was in arrears of the mortgage but I have now cleared these so am not sure why I have 'adverse credit'?

    Many thanks

Lenders may take his history into account when reviewing your details.

The credit score itself is irrelevant and can be ignored.

Hi because you have a joint mortgage you are linked financially so while his B.R is showing for 6 years it will affect your score.
As said the number is meaningless
