    Children’s Saving Advice 5th Jan 18 at 7:47 AM
I’ve been looking around for the best way to invest my sons savings. He’s currently 2 and won’t be accessing it until 18 so happy to lock it away for a while but don’t want a high risk.

I feel the answer is there really isn’t a great place and that an ISA will be the best answer but just wanted to make sure. Up until now he’s had it in a child’s saver but he’s out of the band for decent interest rates now.

    Thanks.

With 16 years to go, I would set up a S&Ss JISA. Cash saving just can’t keep up with inflation so have a built in guaranteed risk.

    See this other recent thread.
