Anywhere worth visiting for 3-4 hours around Gatwick? 3rd Jan 18 at 4:14 PM
Group of us going to fly from Gatwick on 6.30am flight some time in Apr

So we decided to book hotel for the night before + parking near LGW instead of relying on public transport.

Current plan is leaving Birmingham around mid morning to avoid all traffic.

So, is there anywhere worth visiting around LGW or on the route between Birmingham to LGW for couple of hours?

Horley is one stop north on the train from Gatwick Airport train station in South Terminal.

Excellent Wetherspoons a couple of minutes walk from Horley train station...

Bicester Village? Although might not be practical unless you can leave your haul in the boot!

Have you been to Chartwell? Bit of a drive but I loved it.
