    Wombling 2018! 2nd Jan 18 at 6:05 PM
    Hi all,

As some of you may be aware, there used to be some yearly wombling threads on here however, these seem to have been discontinued so why don't we start again?

All you have to do is a post about any successful wombles which could be...

    - Found ASDA receipts for the Asda Price Guarantee
    - Found Sainsburys/Morrisons/Tesco receipts that you gain the Nectar/More/Club card points off
    - Roadkill (Money found in the 'wild')

The idea is to keep a running total to see who the wombling champion of 2018 will be!

    I'll be number 1 - so far, I've had a 93p APG

    Contestants
    ------------------
    1) MotoringMore - 93p
    2) nelie - 4p
    3) Ladykernow - 1p
    4) tracey29 - Yet to Begin
    5) Needananswer - £5.10
    6) Adventureofmemories - Yet to Begin
    7) NBLondon - 1p
    8) Katiehound - Yet to Begin
    9) vickthestick - Yet to Begin
    10) bugslet - 4p
    11) Fingerbobs - 63p
    12) never too old - £4.90
    ------------------
Clubcard Points are 1p per point no matter if used in a boost promotion
A McDonalds coffee bean is worth 22p

    ------------------
Last Updated 17/01 at 16:00 - If you have an issue with your number allocation please inform me ASAP. Also, to make my life easier, if you could place your running total in your signature, it'd be much appreciated!

I love Wombling! don't get much chance to do it here but when in ROI I am such a neat, tidy, helpful shopper at Mr T stores!
Last year I clocked up 4200 points (over 12 weeks) which will go someway to buy a ferry ticket or two!!

I will pop by from time to time.

Last year I did really well with Tesco receipts till my local store went all environmental and asked if you wanted a receipt or not

Still I've managed a £22.00 receipt. I found another one in a shopping trolley for a mere £1.41....in my excitement, I forgot to take the pound out of the trolley.

I'm thinking I may not be good at this

Roadkill 8p. I think people should stop buying everything on contactless

only a small womble but its easy to pick up the coffee bean stickers for a free tea/coffee at mcdonalds as people do still rarely clear their rubbish so easy to grab them off discarded cups as well as taking the cup to the bin helping keep things tidy too (only 6 stickers required for a cuppa)
There are people so poor that the only thing they have is money

It's good to see new womblers & veterans! If you could just add the total for you this year, along with your number, to your signature, that'd be great!

I'm afraid I'm like a bad womble I don't really keep track of any extras, Tesco receipts convert to Avios, no idea how many they convert to. I'm not a signature girl at all, but I will pop by from time to time to cheer you all on.

Did find another roadkill of 2p yesterday.

Not an "active" Wombler here, but when I find a discarded receipt I usually pop to Customer Services and claim the points on it.
Total Wombled to date in 2018 is 63 and a half pence, made up of a combination of Tesco Clubcard and Nectar points.

Sadly I don't live anywhere near an Asda, and rarely set foot in one, so Wombled Asda Price Guarantees are unlikely to come my way :-(

    41p on a wombled T cc receipt.

went to T looking to get some of the reduced collections of washing powders/liquids/tabs and ended up stocking up for at least this year, possibly next too.

Well worth a look in the washing aisle if you are there later today or maybe tomorrow.

I work at a school and one of the teachers in my team always leaves his CO OP reciepts on the table.

He doesnt get the school lunch (which is free if you sit with the children - no brainer really and as I was so nice to the chef he usually gives you a bit extra) so every day buys a meal deal from CO OP. I'll have those points then haha.

4p for me. Updated my OP.

Sadly nada, zero, zilch here! Shame Aldi till receipts are worth nothing as I couls have had a clutch of them!

Added to that I can't seem to edit my signature to add my womble number. It doesn't matter if I am in 'edit your details ' or view your details (or whatever it says!) I can't change anything at all.
Help please!! either here or as a pm please..........

Took my DH on a date last night - for my first Womble around our local Azda. Picked up three receipts, only one of which had enough items on it and that was mine, and it was showing that everything I had bought was less than half the price of every other shop. So that was good - a bit of an eye opener for DH - but not so good on the Wombling front!
    Must try harder!

Having wombled some splendid asda receipts last year, I hopefully picked up what looked a lengthy chit, to find it was 4 lines of chocolate & 1 of nurofen. I do not approve of litter, but I was admiring of the pain management.
Musty try harder with the McDonalds stickers...
Happy New Year & Happy Wombling, all!

Hi all, not really a wombling question but does any know, (not very good at explaining myself, but here goes)
Will mr a do it's price guarantee on items that are oos in the other store? For example, my dd wanted Huggies baby wipes which were reduced in sainsbobs but got there and they were out of stock. Could she buy them for full price in mr a (with other comparable items) and get the APG?

Hope i haven't confused you all, lol.
