It is freezing here. Have had frost and ice since last night. Gritter and pavement mini gritter were out during the night so main roads and main pavements are clear. Neighbour went out and put some grit down for us on pavements leading to main road and I went out and salted paths in courtyard.

Nice to see everyone about! Just been and brought my washing in and there was quite good drying. Not leaving it any later incase we get early frost appearing.

The jobs will still be there when it is warmer FF!

Great you had fun with your GD and doggies Alfie.

Hope you have lovely time at the theatre leanfun. We love going but with no theatres near us it is costly just to get there. Only go when I win Ticketmaster vouchers (have won £600 or £700 since I started comping)

Know what you mean about coughing rose. I feel fine now but still have coughing fits, 3 weeks after catching the flu. I was like your GD and was sick too although not that often. Hope the frost goes away soon for you.

Better to stay in McCulloch if it is as cold as it looks. Never looked at Amazon Pantry.

By the way Topcashback and Quidco both have daily instant win comps on. They both started today. I won £5 on Quidco. It all adds up!

Morning peeps. Another cold one here and snow is back. Been up since 4am as coughing was driving me up the wall. Do not seem to cough so much if I am upright but every time I nodded off I seemed to just slip down flat and off I would go again. Going to nip over to chemist and see if they can recomend another cough medicine that will help. I need a decent nights sleep as I am shattered. Enough moaning. Hope everyone with colds, flu and other ailments are keeping warm and resting up. Good luck with comps today.

Morning everyone, hope you all had a good weekend, i was working as usual but have taken next weekend off. It is freezing here and can't seem to get warm. I was at work yesterday and had to scrape the windscreen before going to work then again to come home. Shows how much the temps have dropped. They did say we were in for a cold spell this week. Hope you can get some cough medicine that works rose, and you can get a good nights sleep.Right must get on, hope you all have a lucky day

    Afternoon all,

Was at the dentist for a replacement filling this morning - another hour until I can have lunch!
Been a cold start here but quite nice now.
DD has got a viral infection now so has antibiotics and ear drops to take. She hasn't been well all week but had to go to Uni as important stuff being done and no chance to repeat it until next year. Anyway, luckily she wasn't there today and got an appointment first thing. Hopefully she will recover quickly now.
    So many things going about.
    Hope everyone is feeling ok.
I am still coughing too rose but thankfully not affecting my sleep. Infact I seem to be sleeping much better than I have for years!

Three GKs will keep you busy leanfun!

Must get a few comps done.

Glad DD got to Dr, was worried as she couldn't hear in right ear. It is so difficult for peeps to get appointments nowadays. We have to phone at 8am and take a reserved morning appointment or do without!

Posted the following info in my morning Betty post .... I know it'll
    be of interest here

The State of Britain’s Hedgehogs (7th February 2018)

Published jointly by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society
(BHPS) and People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES). This
report is the only comprehensive review of the status of Britain’s
    hedgehogs in the UK.

It shows that hedgehogs in the countryside are in a serious
decline. However, the picture is not so bad for our towns and
cities. Although the species has declined by a third in urban areas
since 2000, the rate of decline is slowing, and where hogs are
found, numbers appear to be growing in some places. This shows
why campaigns like Hedgehog Street are so important, and could
actually help bring this species back from the brink.

You can download the report by clicking here >>>

    https://www.hedgehogstreet.org/launched-today-state-britains-hedgehogs/

    What is Hedgehog Street?

Hedgehog Street is a joint campaign run by the People’s Trust for
Endangered Species and the British Hedgehog Preservation Society
(BHPS), concerning people, gardens and wildlife.

People love gardens (especially British people).

    People love hedgehogs.

Hedgehogs love gardens – they need to access to lots of gardens
    to survive.

Hedgehogs need connected neighbourhoods of gardens, rich in
    insects and free from hazards.

Hedgehogs are currently in severe decline in the UK, with around a
third lost since the millennium. That is why we started the
campaign in 2011 as a means of engaging British people about the
wildlife that depends on them and their gardens.

Hedgehog Street is about joining up the dots. It’s about
empowering people with an understanding of hedgehogs, why they
are declining, and how easy it is to help them.

This website has everything you need to ensure that hedgehogs
remain as much a part of the British countryside as tea and
    scones.

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care whatever
    your plans.

    Good Morning,

Love hedgehogs Alfie but so seldom see them. Remember I stopped the traffic on our road few years ago as family of them were crossing the road!

Are you starting to feel a bit more back to normal now FF? (If you know what I mean)

Hope cough gets better soon rose. Mine is just occaisonal now. Luckily it doesn't seem to have gone to my chest or Dhs and it has stopped hurting my ribs etc when I do cough. (that was painful)

Did you get to the theatre leanfun?

Be nice for you to get the weekend off indie.

Been pretty wet here over night and misty now but not cold.
Must get on as we have hair cuts to go for this morning - well over due.
