Loss insurance 7th Dec 17 at 12:24 AM
I've hung on as long as I can but my Norwich & Peterborough current account is about to be closed. It included free sentinel gold cover so that if any/all of my cards were lost/stolen I can just ring one number and cancel the lot. I used this service twice and it was great. I have looked at the cost of this cover for when I have to pay and its £39.95 per year. it seems rather a lot to me. There is the option of cardsentry at half the cost, but I cannot find any reviews for them and need to know my details will be safe. Does anyone know of anyone else offering this service (most schemes seem to be closed to new members) or any info on cardsentry?

40 pound for a service that cancels your cards, your better off saving the money and be careful with your cards and perhaps have a list of numbers for each card provider on your phone just in case.

How many cards do you have? 5? 8? 10?

Why not stick to carrying just 2 or 3 of them around with you at a time?

that way if you get mugged/lose your wallet you just have to ring 2 or 3 card providers. Hardly more difficult than calling sentinel.

Why spend £40 when you can save that and follow the advice posted.
Can people stop loaning money/being a guarator to family/friends, it rarely ends well and you lose out as your money is gone or you get shafted with being a guarantor.
