Parking Charge on a personal leased car 4th Dec 17 at 11:49 AM
    Hi Guys,

received a "parking charge" from UKP

leasing the car. They are named as registered keeper of the car.

I know on the leasing terms it says all fine etc are paid by them then they send the bill to me with an admin charge on top.

    So what are the options?

    Thanks in advance !!!55357;!!!56842;

Yes I would, and make sure that the Fleet Admin team are aware. If you have appealed as Keeper, in theory UKPC won't need to contact Hitachi, but UKPC are not renowned for playing by the rules.

Again, in theory, Hitachi should still transfer it to you if UKPC send a Notice to Keeper, but I think Hitachi VS pay everything on arrival and bill it to the driver.

    Hi Guys, just an update.

I contacted my leasing company about the CHARGE saying I will be dealing with this my self.

    they replied:

"We are the registered keepers of the vehicle so we may receive notification of this fine, if we do we will transfer liability to you. Please contact us if you need anything from us for your appeal."

I'm guessing this is a good sign.

    Newbies !!
Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se

PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.

    Lady...

Not anger, but BEFORE POSTING do a simple bit of research. Saves you asking the same question over and over.
