Local Council PCN 4th Dec 17 at 11:06 AM
    Hello

I was given a pcn in july 2017 for parking in a bay that was apparently for electric vehicles to charge up, however there is no electric charge point in the bay concerned, the electric charge point is actually in the next bay and there is no signage on the equipment saying what it is and its actually half way up a wall and is small square box. The council then did not send me the Notice To Owner until 22/09/17, so i sent an appeal, i recieved no reply from them, i then got another NTO so again i appealed, now today i have recieved a letter demanding £105 or the will take it court at Northampton. I have taken photographs of the bay in question.

The council state i am in the wrong and i cant take it to the traffice commissioners due to the council taking more than 28 days to issue a NTO.

    Any advice?

As we tend to major on private parking tickets here, PePiPoo will be your best bet for council tickets. Register there (but please note that a hotmail address won't work) and post a new thread; here's your link:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?act=SF&s=&f=30

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.

If you put your case on PePiPoo you might be able to get that £35 reduced to £0.
