    An Amazon question, please

An Amazon question, please 3rd Dec 17 at 7:08 PM
If you opt to promote something on Amazon, what happens to the listing once you reach your daily budget for it?

I was promoting a couple of things, reached my budget and now I can't find them at all unless I put in the whole listing name.

Also, I was promoting them at the top price suggested but, even when they were visible they were still about 20 items in.

    Any advice gratefully received, thanks!
    Make £5 a day in December £54.94/£310 (November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54)

Are you using manual or automatic keywords? What are your click throughs like? Have you had sales from the ad. I don't bother checking to see what I find, it's not that important if I'm selling. Obviously if you're not selling it might need looking into.

You might also want to check it's in the right category, they have a habit of unknowingly being moved every so often.

I do a mix of manual and automatic, I have a few items that would only really have one search term and the conversion rate is pretty high. I do mess about with price per click and budgets quite a lot. I generally aim for a 10% cost unless it is a new item I'm promoting.

When I promoted other items they seemed to move up in the ranking and then once they started selling I've been able to remove the promotion and they have stayed within the top 10.

These two were a fair way down even with promoting them but now seem to have disappeared completely!
