    Dedicated Parking Space at Work

Dedicated Parking Space at Work 1st Dec 17 at 1:35 PM
My understanding is that if an employer allocates a specific parking space to an employee that the employer completes a P11D and that the employee should account for this on their self assessment as a benefit. Am I correct or is it more involved than that?

If the space is at the employers premises then I do not think there is a taxable benefit

Correct. According to HMRC guidance, parking spaces provided at or near an employer's premises are exempt under the benefits code and shouldn't be reported on the P11D.
