My son has been claiming DLa for approx 18 months but Can anyone tell me if I can claim back pay on my sons DLA payment from when I first adopted him 12 years ago?

DLA cannot be backdated. The payment will only be made from the date of the application (18 months ago?)

    Does that answer your question?
