Nationwide FlexDirect/flexclusive regular saver access issues 30th Nov 17 at 4:15 PM
The nationwide Flexdirect account is recommended on the main moneysavingexpert website, but I have been having problems accessing nationwideís website (nationwide.co.uk).
There appear to be some tips on how to access the website on the website itself, but being unable to access the website, I cannot access those.
I contacted nationwide, and was told there were no problems with their website, but judging from the posts on downdetector.co.uk and isitdownrightnow.com, other people appear to be having the same problems as me.
I was able to open the flexdirect account by phone (but donít know whether iíll be able to service this.). However, I was told the associated flexclusive regular saver account cannot be opened by phone.
Any tips on a way round my problem. I have tried accessing on multiple devices without any luck and my ISP is indicating my connection is working ok (no problems with any other sites)

    Stab in the dark here

If you have any ad blockers, try disabling them

    Clear all cookies.

    Try a different browser

    EDIT
I've just tried & I can't get onto website either. App is working fine but I don't suppose you have that yet.

How long have you been trying?

As above, ad blockers and a different browser -yup.

I'm now thinking though that prior to clearing you cookies try using the incognito / private mode of your browser (they all have this now, right?) which should rule out existing cookie related issues.

How very odd. Still timing out for me.

I wonder if its regional. (Is that even possible?)

Nah, it keeps saying we are sorry there seems to be a problem, then you click on a continue button and it takes you into your accounts, but they may not be updated for today, as our interest is not showing and is due today.

I tried earlier this morning, and not long ago, both times online banking worked fine first time.

I do and have been having a problem not when online but with nationwide's main web site timing out, but it doesn't stop online banking.
