The things that people steal. 30th Nov 17 at 2:54 PM
A woman who lost her leg in a speedboat accident that killed her husband and daughter has had prosthetic limbs worth about £30,000 stolen.

Ok when they stole the suitcase they wouldn't have known what was in there, but as soon as they realised wouldn't you think they'd leave them somewhere. They may have cost £30k, but they're not worth that to the thieves, what can they do with them ?

Don't know if it's true, but I heard of someone who'd had a bag stolen with a small bottle of whisky in it. Except it wasn't whisky, it was their urine sample they were taking to the hospital.

Oh I do hope it's true and that the thief had a good swig!

People will steal anything that isn't nailed down. And if it is they will steal the nail and then the thing that was nailed down.

Nearly as good as the elderly lady who had her shopping bag snatched. It was the bag she used for her dog's 'scoops'.

I thought about putting liquid laxative in my bottles of water at work. Drinks get nicked on a regular basis...and chocolate...and cheese.

It hasn’t got past a thought so far though....

Thieves broke into my dads Minivan back in the 1970s, it was full of holiday luggage, and my radio and cassette were in the door pocket. They left all that though, and decided to grab the brown paper parcel that was laid on top of everything else. They got my cousins bed linen that we had just collected from the laundry for her.

When we had our car broken into on the first day of holiday (a few years ago) they took the cd player (told you it was a while ago) but they missed all the holiday money because it was wrapped in a plastic bag in with the wifes toiletries. I guess they thought it was something waiting to be thrown away. We've kept the bag ever since.
