    Food Network Cake Naming Competition – “Win 6 Guylian Chocolate Hampers”
    Terms & Conditions

    • Who can enter:
      • Competition open to all residents of the United Kingdom with access to the internet aged 18 years or over (Prize Promoter reserves the right to seek further proof of age at its discretion), excluding employees of the Prize Provider, the Prize Promoter, their immediate families and anyone else professionally connected with the Competition and their employees and immediate families.

    • Opening/closing date and time:
      • Competition opens for entries at 00.01 on Monday 27th November 2017.
      • Competition closes for entries at 23.59 on Sunday 17th December 2017.
      • All entries must be made within the opening and closing date and time.

    • Competition result date:
      • The winner will be chosen, in accordance with the method set out below, from all submitted entries as soon as practicable after the close date.
      • The winner will be notified within 48 hours of the final judging taking place, via the email address provided when entering.
      • In the event that the winner is unable to be contacted after the 3rd attempt, or is unable to take up their prize, Prize Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a runner-up.

    • Method and cost of entry:
      • Entrants can enter the Competition by either (i) registering and signing up to Food Network and then submitting the required information via the website or (ii) logging into their Food Network account and submitting the required information via the website
      • Images of a Guylian cake will be shown on the Food Network channel on various dates/times between Monday 27th November and Sunday 17th December [SNI1] and on [SNI2] . Ingredients and the method for the cake recipe shall also be posted on to aid competition entry.
      • To enter the Competition, you must submit a proposed cake name for the Guylian cake in accordance with the entry method set out above. Entries submitted by any other means will not be accepted.
      • The winner of the Competition will be the person who submits a cake name that best meets the following criteria: original, creative, humorous/fun, relevant to the Guylian cake ingredients and the Guylian cake appearance.
      • All entries will be reviewed and judged for shortlist based on the above criteria by employees of the Prize Provider and the Prize Promoter. A shortlist of 20 entries will then be reviewed and judged based on the above criteria by a judging panel with at least one independent judge. The panel’s decision shall be final. In the event two or more entries submitted are identical and considered for a winning prize, the entry submitted first shall take priority.
      • Use of script, macro or any automated system to enter the Competition is prohibited and entries made (or which appear to have been made) using any such system may be treated as void. Any illegible, incomplete or fraudulent entries or entries in breach of these Terms and Conditions will be rejected.
      • The name of the winner and the winning cake name will be uploaded on to and on Food Network’s Facebook page.
      • There is no charge for entry.
      • Please note:
        • You agree, subject to prevailing data protection legislation, for your name and the cake name you submit to be mentioned, incorporated and/or published in whole or in part on the Prize Promoter and Prize Provider’s website and social media pages (including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
        • By entering a cake name submission (“Submission”) you automatically and irrevocably grant Prize Promoter and its affiliates, assignees and licensees an irrevocable, royalty-free, licence to use, broadcast, publish, reproduce, exploit the Submission (and transfer these rights to a 3rd party) in whole or in part throughout the world in perpetuity by all means and in any and all media formats (whether now known or hereafter devised). You agree that you will not be entitled to any compensation based upon the use of the Submission by Prize Provider and/or Prize Promoter.
        • You acknowledge and agree that we are under no obligation to use or exploit any of the Submissions provided to us.
        • You confirm that the Submission is your original ideal and that you have the right to submit the Submission and that nothing in the Submission shall violate or infringe the copyright or any other right of any third party (including trademarks) or breach any contract or duty of confidence, or be defamatory, offensive, disparaging, illegal or blasphemous (the determination of which shall remain in the sole discretion of the Prize Promoter) and your Submission does not contain any known virus, trojan horse, worm, trapdoor or similar software that may in any way infect or affect any of Prize Promoter’s hardware or software systems.
        • You grant Prize Promoter and Prize Provider all consent required under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 or any statutory re-enactment thereof for the time being in force to enable us to make the fullest use of the Submission;
        • You understand and agree to waive all moral rights arising under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 or similar rights arising under the laws of any jurisdiction in the Submission in favour of Prize Promoter and Prize Provider, their affiliates, assignees and licensees;
        • You expressively waive and release Prize Provider and Prize Promoter from any claim action or demand arising out of or in connection with our use or exploitation of the Submission, including but not limited to, any and all claims for infringement of your right of publicity, defamation and any other personal and/or property rights. You agree to renounce any claim that we misappropriated any ideas or portion of your submission in any future use by us.

    • Prizes:
      • There will be one (1) winner. The winner will receive – 6 Guylian chocolate hampers. Each hamper will contain:

    • 1 x Guylian Origianl Praline Bar 35g
    • 1 x Guylian Caramel and Praline Bar 36g
    • 1 x Guylian Belgian chocolate Fondue dip 150g
    • 1 x Guylian 72% Dark Chocolate bar 100g
    • 1 x Guylian Chocolate Waffle Cone 15g
    • 1 x Guylian Truffles box 200g (about 23 pieces)
    • 1 x Guylian Praline Seashell Box 336g (32 pieces)
    • 1 x Guylian Milk Chocolate coated Raisins Pack 150g
    • 1 x Guylian La Trufflina assorted truffles 90g (8 pieces)
    • 1 x Guylian Opus Chocolate Assortment 90g (8 pieces)
    • 1 x Guylian Temptations Seashells 115g (about 11 pieces)

    • Multiple entries per person are permitted. Spammers will be disqualified.
    • Prize elements are non-changeable and non-transferrable. No cash or credit alternatives are offered.
    • The Prize must be taken as one package and cannot be split.
    • By taking part in this Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, the Prize Promoter’s Privacy Policy [Link] and Terms of Use [Link] .
    • The Prize Promoter reserves the right to disqualify and/or discount entries if it has reasonable grounds to suspect, at its sole discretion that (i) entries were made in breach of these terms and conditions and/or (ii) entries were designed to unfairly influence the result of the Competition and/or provide an unfair advantage to the entrant.
    • Winner agrees, subject to prevailing data protection legislation, to their name being published on the website and in other media, and may be asked to be involved in other publicity.
    • Details of the winner will normally be posted on the website. Alternatively the name only of the winner is available by sending a return-stamped and self-addressed envelope marked with the name of the Competition, to Scripps Networks, 111 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 0SR.
    • The Prize Promoter shall not be liable for any costs, losses, injury, disappointment, expenses or damages of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise which are suffered or sustained in connection with this Competition or the winner’s acceptance of the Prize, save that nothing shall limit or exclude the Prize Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.
    • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network (the “Social Networks”). You are providing your information to the Prize Promoter and not to the Social Networks. The information you provide will only be used as stated in these terms and conditions. You agree that Social Networks shall not be liable in any way in relation to the Competition.
    • You agree that your personal data will be used for the purposes of administering this Competition and providing you with the Prize, and in accordance with the Prize Promoter's Privacy Policy [Link]. You also agree that your personal data may be used for purposes consistent with the consents you have given upon entry into the Competition, if any, such as marketing from the Prize Promoter, its affiliated companies and trusted third parties, including the Prize Provider.
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
