ntk letter and totally confused 21st Nov 17 at 7:01 PM
Have read newbie threads etc but I'm still confused
Received a letter to keeper on Saturday 20th November 2017 relating to alleged contravention of terms and conditions in a private car park on Wednesday 17th November 2017, however there was no notice to driver placed on the car by the operative. Should this have happened first?
    TIA for any replies

the fact it has happened so quickly means no pcn was issued on the day

It will be an ANPR or hand-held camera capture and that entitles the PPC to access your details from the DVLA within 14 days.

    Which PPC please?
We cannot provide you with a silver bullet to get you out of this. You have to be in for the long run, and need to involve yourself in research and work for you to get rid of this. It is not simple. We will help, but can't do it for you.

further to the NTK I attempted to lodge an appeal through the PCC website as no email address is on the communication. This failed as there are boxes that must be completed including one for name and address of driver. I have hand written the letter as per the template and will be sending by registered post in the morning

use the black text template to appeal as KEEPER (located in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread)

this is a paper exercise as they are unlikely to cancel it (no profit in accepting appeals)

after that , IGNORE anything EXCEPT an LBC or an MCOL , for 6 years

ok , so what are you expecting if you have already used the black text to appeal it ? (seeing as appealing is a paper exercise only, to show you tried to resolve the matter)

if you are looking for an easy get out , there isnt one

I was just wondering what happens next which you have answered, we just sit back and wait. the other comment was just to say that I couldn't do the appeal online as they wouldn't accept the space for naming the driver being blank. As this is the first time we have ever received a ticket this is very new to us

chances are you will get an appeal refusal, possibly a referral option to the IAS (which you dont bother with)

then up to 6 years of hassle and debt letters

the LBC or MCOL are the important letters , assuming this doesnt get cancelled (yeah , fat chance)
