Oh no poor you, you must be freezing. That's a long time to have to wait .

Unfortunately the landlord has probably fulfilled his legal obligations by giving you an electric heater and the fact that you can't afford to run it is ignored by the authorities . Everything really is stacked against the poor unfortunately, it's a very unfair system .

I hope you have some warm clothes to wear. Can you cook and make hot drinks? I presume it's the boiler that has gone wrong? It never rains but it pours .

Yeah just the boiler. It's fine.. The hot water for cleaning bothers me more than the heating

A good work out though having to go up and downstairs an extra 1000 times a day

Smalls still aren't in bed think school have fed them bowls of sugar today

Sorry to hear about the boiler You should be a priority to get it fixed though, especially with a disabled child.

My December list is growing far too long

There's still the plans for DS and DD to add on that I've missed yet! Need to wait for the newsletter though because I can't remember anything else There's the nativities and some other bits.

I really want to have the painting done this weekend. Need to pop and buy another tin of paint in the morning but will hopefully be done over the weekend. Once downstairs is finished I'm giving up until after Xmas before moving on to anywhere else.

Hope they manage to sort the boiler ASAP. It's probably the worst time for it to breakdown. Hope your keeping warm.
With your december list, just seen the presents from/to siblings. For the last 2 years we have done a secret santa between the kids, we put names in a bowl, they all choose one each. They then get that bit extra to spend on the person than if they all bought for each other (as they would have the ú10 to spend and not ú5 each sibling). They really enjoyed it last year and couldn't wait to do it again this year. I'm hoping it's something they will carry on between them as they get older. I've loved listening to them tonight trying to prise it out of each other, but they are all keeping quiet.

Your activity list sounds great, the smalls will love it.

Glad the painting is nearly done. We still have 3 rooms to do but I've had enough for this year, they'll have to be on the 2018 to do list!

    Morning Just

Feel amazing today in comparison to how I've felt recently! I actually got a few hours sleep too! I suspect in a few hours I'll be back to feeling rubbish but I'm making the most of feeling good.

Been into town and sorted some bits, bought paint to finish downstairs. Really want to get finished this weekend I won't be happy if not! Also needed fabric conditioner and bleach.

Have a good day all x

I knew it wouldn't last Feeling rough again. At least I know I get a good 4 hours of feeling good

Smalls are all in the bath, early night after last night! Plus the fact there's more glitter on them than the Xmas decorations

I'm going to get them settled with a movie and hot choc and cookies. Then I can get on with the painting again. Be worth it when it's done I keep reminding myself

Youngest has overnight nurse tonight so I have no excuse not to get the majority done so the wallpaper can go up tomorrow evening!
