Off to google prestige copper bottom pans.... for OH's xmas present!!
I have these too, seem to be lasting well, and metal handles so you can put them in the oven too.
Are you not due to retire?
I wish, if it meant I could go on this.
That is wonderful... I may resign tomorrow x

When in the week is the draw? Has any of the Elite won?0 -
The app normally also sends an email to your gmail account for any gift card wins.
Oh hasnt had any emails - is this something you have to opt into?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Afternoon all
I have an SOS - any suggestions greatfully received.
This morning I dropped the C bomb and asked for the Christmas lists for my 2 eldests.
Eldest son has asked for a knife set in a block and a saucepan set - OMG I have no idea where to start looking - if anyone has any ideas please.
There is no set budget but obviously not OTT eg Le Cruset - GF is very dainty and petite so I dont think she could manhandle cast iron anyway.
They both cook from scratch most days of the week, 2 young trendy twenty somethings - possibly pans with glass lids and possibly things that go from stove top to oven.
I had a look at Joseph knives but they are OMG price so maybe the next level down.
But he has now sent me a picture of baccarak knife set from a US website at 99 dollars !!!!
I have the joseph knife set ( got it free from the John Lewis demo girls at Blackheath festival ( where I worked ) together with the magnetic utensil set, the chopping boards and the stacking mixing bowls! They are great knives but have to be washed by hand for some reason. I would recommend Tesco own brand knives they are great.0 -
oh dreadful
I think as your phone is playing up I would open them as you get them in the shop - keep your head down and ignore anyone waiting for the self scan machine.
That at least will slow things down so that there will be the 1 minite gap between transactions
I also tend to open the envelopes at home - I opened 2 in Marks this morning whilst we were in the cafe, both prize draws
Think that would be a good idea mhoc, the q can wait or go to another till:rotfl:0 -
