Womble A vs T Milk seems to be going up and up
    1x ASDA Whole Milk (4 pint) 1.09 1.09

That comparison gets you back to straight 99p A but no 10% off 1 anymore. (I would frown, but, in a sense, it's our fault for getting cheap milk before and sending many diaries to the wall.) Better now is 6 pint milk 1.48 vs 1.50 T/S/W. Of course, the comparisons still get you paying A's full prices if you put bad items versus the competitors on the same shops.

They obviously think about expensive bottled water. My bottled water is 17p for 2 litres, which is about three and a half pints, which works out at less than 5p per pint. With milk even at 99p before, it was nearly five times that cost! And it is now (if you don't get APG 'refund') more than five times the straight cost of bottled water so, for me, milk costs way more. So, it's not "still cheaper" than bottled water - and it never was in the first place. The answer is it depends which bottled water you are looking at and also which milk you are talking about.

    Evening peeps.

After moaning about sweet mandarin I have purchased 3 today, couldn't resist!
    21 voucher though....

SA scanned my fillers and commented that she had purchased the same set in T yesterday for only 3.75 !
She asked if I still wanted them or should she put them back!

I said thanks for mentioning I'll put my receipt through the price checker.

Her reply was that instore purchases don't count you can only do apg on online shops.

    Talk about staff training.

EDIT 2: Also you couldn't mix 4 ones with 4.50, without losing out to the 'cheapest free'. Ignore me - I see why you stuck to 4 ones now!)

Just realised A didn't pick up the 5 sweets for 1 on my receipt. I might try for a 2 gc as overcharged if they don't scribble on my receipt which I'm sure they will.

As for the receipts at my stores, they have been rather poor of late. I had a few earlier where they bought 6 or 7 different items. People sticking to the same version of products bought in duplicate - I had one that could have been good (I will never know) - but, after the carrier bag and the other non-grocery are excluded, just 7 items. Why couldn't they just add a flump? Yesterday was so rubbish with them - most receipts turned out to be one or two items short of 8 and then one that did qualify - more than 10% cheaper. Hooray. "Told you so - more than 10% cheaper!"

I then had one really really long receipt but all that lot resulted in just 75p - the receipt was so long I would feel embarrassed at using it for such a small amount and so, very unusually, I chucked it. The next one, I wasn't a member of 1p club but it gave the 2p club instead. In fact, coming at the end of all that poor lot, when 2p came up I just laughed - it was just hilarious.

Today is a similar story with most of the few receipts, people just not buying enough. Or, with all those good items glitching, people buying other items on the 5 for 3 soups and getting them appearing at 60p each and then the whole shop ending up no voucher. I did get one good one though - Morries cheaper. A number of items on offer a pound cheaper than at A - none of them fantastic for straight 10% off M - anything good is already on the M list - that tipped the balance and gave a voucher for nearly 6. Hooray. First good return in a while - been relying on my glitch shops giving me the vouchers back instead of the wombles.

Definitely worth going today though and finding the almost 6 womble as, with the APG on my own shop back, that is more than the original cost of my shop.
