    Lol

2 items on eBay will sell presently stand at £10 total ends on Saturday I will put the money towards the AA debt , also got £20 being transferred from my kids start account to will put that towards it was well

As things stand I should be able to clear the A A debt when I get paid on 25 th there will be £10 in interest to pay as end of 0% but it could be worse and then I will concentrate on Sainsbury’s which 0 % ends Feb ,

morning to all, did the Aldi shop today for the week and it came to £70.04 so really pleased with that !

also i had reserved a book i really wanted at the library the other day and it's come in today so will go and pick that up i would normally have bought it so pleased i can read it for free yay!

my ebay items have no further bids yet but end Sat so still time

had to take out £10 for daughter as she is going swimming with friends today and has running club tonight so money needed for those things , luckily my mum bought her some new boots in the sale yesterday and some new clothes so that is a big help too

my gas and electric bills came in and it's £29 in debit but last time it was credit so my DD will stay the same at £109 per month, i note the tariff i am on ends in March so will look to find another fixed tariff deal i am pretty happy with Eon though so hope they will offer a good deal to stay with them

according to my budget i am on course to have £90 extra at the end of this month! cant quite believe that as it also includes £150 in savings and the car budget , so we shall see on the 25th whether that is still the case, i really hope so! if it is then i will pay it towards the AA debt , will also have my extra earnings but not sure how much yet as i havent worked the full month on the extra hours, so may be less than i am expecting it to normally be

    have a good day all

Received my £20 from kidstart it's going straight to the AA debt.

Listening to Dave Ramsey podcast this morning and have signed up for his free email which gives you tips for debt planning etc as it was free thought i may as well get it

my ebay items are the same

i had £12 held back in paypal for my ebay fees this month and they came to £5.56 so the balance will go to AA debt

enjoyed my library book and glad i didnt buy it

What was the podcast like? Worth a listen?

I found out yesterday if you go to my account on ebay you can make a one off payment straight away for the fee when the item is sold... never knew this! It would have been so much easier to do that then take out the post cost and know what I was left with so I'll be doing this from now on I think!

Yes his podcasts are def worth a listen I think, he's American and it relates to Americans but of course all the things he talks about apply to here as well

I just paid another £65 off my AA card and updated my signature , I do have another £100 in my budget to pay off but I will leave that until I get paid "just incase " also put £50 into my savings pot for car

I didnt know that about ebay? i do find it complicated to find out about stuff on there tbh especially fees

good Saturday morning all, I had another NSD yesterday however I am feeling like it's just me that is making all the effort my husband doesn't seem to have changed his habits, he went to the gym this morning and bought a £3.50 energy drink , now is taking dog out and where he walks her he gets lunch which he spends about £10 on , he did this last weekend as well, and here is me not spending a penny on myself i have given up all my coffees and eating out , i make his lunches for work to try get him to stop spending, now when i say i need to do the tally up tomorrow of his income /outgoings he pulls a face and it;s like i cant mention "the budget" , i am worried he may go back into over draft this month and he doesnt seem bothered about it , some times it seems so hard especially when i feel like he isnt onboard with this , he has two large credit card balanaces , he at least has them now on 0% and is not using those cards but i dont feel he is onboard with me , he is paying min on those atm as he has no spare cash to use, my plan is to pay towards those when i ve cleared mine then at least we will have more money to get those down quicker

    sorry for the moan

Hey lovely! Got no practical advice I'm afraid re the husband. When I did this first time round and was married, I just kind of went right i'm sick of this, give me your cards and after a little fuss he agreed on £50 a week 'pocket' money and let me get on with it. I suppose I was quite lucky in that respect, now it's just me so no getting anyone else on board Keep on keeping on though, it will come through.

Hope you've had a good weekend xx

Already there has been talk of a family holiday this year but we cannot afford it so i am going to have to be the bad mummy and put my foot down on that one , we were lucky enough to go away last year and the year before so missing one year i think is reasonable , i plan on saving some money for days out instead , we will see
