LBA from Civil Enforcement - PARKING CHARGE NOW CANCELLED!!!!!!!!! 25th Oct 17 at 5:08 AM
    Hi,
Hoping someone here will take pity on me and help.
My husband runs a taxi, dropped some customers off at a local pub.
He didn't notice the parking signs, as he was busy driving etc.
We've had 2 letters, and now an LBA from Civil Enforcement.
They reckon he stayed 12 minutes and some seconds, which is probably right as the customers had luggage and bags etc.
I'm going to ring the pub later, and try and get them to cancel the fine.
If I can't, could someone help me with what to write in response to the LBA please?
I'm in the middle of a house move, have got 3 young kids and now having to deal with this.
I'm struggling to find the time to do all this on my own.
    Please help

Sorry to bump this. But was hoping to pack up the computer and printer this evening ready for our house move, so really need to print asap.

Am I ok to send the above or do you have any suggestions that I should add or remove?

Thank you so much for your help

So, it looks like Royal Mail have been unable to deliver my first letter.

It's too easy for a recipient to refuse delivery.

Next time just send it normal first class, but take it to a Post Office counter and get a free Certificate of Posting.
Normal post is deemed delivered after two working days.

Yes, luckily sent my first letter signed for, which is still in the system almost a week later.
It turns out what I wrote was about 3 years out if date.
It's given me a second chance to write the letter, ive had another go a couple of posts up, and am hoping someone can advise me on whether I should send it or not.
    Thanks

I'm not a fan of long rambling letters that go into excessive detail.

However, it certainly packs a punch and covers all the important points and facts - and more besides.

I'd say it's good to send but I would remove this:
I refuse to furnish a company such as yourselves with the identity of the driver. I can confirm that the driver was legally entitled to drive the car.!
