    Paying off debt to freedom

Paying off debt to freedom 22nd Oct 17 at 11:57 PM
Started my debt free diary, 31k in the red. The way I see it, the sooner I can become debt free the sooner I can live my life.

I am starting this diary as I have always kept my debt to myself, and I split with the girl I am seeing today... I think all of my debt and worries have meant I just ignored her, I feel bad I have literally said almost zero to her for the past 3 or 4 weeks, blanking her messages just thinking of my own mess. I was unsure how to tell her what is going on so I got kinda messy and couldn't explain myself and she naturally assumed I was hiding something and jumped to I have cheated...

Had a huge argument where she told me I encourage women to throw themselves at me and I am a psychopath, I'm a sociopath, and a horrible human being with no conscience guilt, can't remember what else, but basically told me I'm a horrible human being. I mean I can be an !!! at times, and I am quite nasty if I'm moody, but I do really care about those around me I feel sad my debt has caused this for me, as I'd have been fine otherwise. Amazing eh how debt can impact so much.

Anyway, felt like time to get my stuff together, get a diary going and vent out a little bit.

I imported all my spending for the past 4 months into YNAB, and it was frankly disgusting how I spent over £80 a month on fast food alone! So bad for my budget, and also my health! Likewise I spent £109 on average per month dining out!!! I have done a budget for next month, where I have said no fast food, and halved my dining out (with a view to phase out). I just think I am best to tackle one problem area per month, whilst keeping myself on budget and not going over into more debt. If I go crazy all at once, I know me, I will break everything and go wild.

Split the bill anyway, I'm going to have to go easy on some other spending categories this month to make up for things.

I have the runs, stuck on the toilet. I swear it’s because my body doesn’t know how to handle normal food anymore, all I’ve eaten is chicken broccoli and salad since starting this blog lol. McDonald’s, sausage rolls, followed by a meal out has baffled my body. My stomach feels like a solid rock... ahhhh man.

On another note, I got 5 unknown calls at 8pm, wonder who that might be!?

GP has nothing for over a week, which sucks. I can’t eat or drink anything, just laying in my bed feeling sorry for myself going to loo every 3 seconds lol. I’m gonna waste away you won’t be able to see me by Sunday, all my gains are gonna go I will be like a weed walking around. Needless to say I’m so sad right now. Also my legs have gone numb and my muscles feel tight.

On a plus side can’t spend anything whilst in this state, although I bet medicines are gonna be a fortune when I can finally face the outdoors.

Oh camz, you do sound sad!
A few people at my work have had this kinda bug recently (which I'm sure yours is, not just different food!)... The good news is it seems to have been short lived. To be fair, I am sure the Dr's wouldn't be able to much for you... unless it lasts for a few days. Just make sure you don't get too dehydrated (not easy I know) but tiny little sips of water should get absorbed by your body before passing through! Rest when you can!

Sadly not ended up much worse and went the emergency doctor, ended up out at A&E where I spent until today. Gotta go back tomorrow. Been on a drip since Saturday. Will get a clearer diagnosis once everything they took from me has been analysed.

The parking was £2.40 an hour, and I paid for one hour, ended up there 3 days. No ticket on the car just hoping I donít get a massive fine!

On a plus side not in the office this week.

Oh wow! That's not good news at all! Sorry to hear you've been so poorly... and I was going to tell you to 'man up' last week! Glad I didn't! Fingers-crossed they do the analysis quickly. Hope you are feeling a bit better and continue to improve!

I have the worst luck in life I swear. Some di*k splashed me last night in their big BMW X5, they fully swerved to get me. Walked home dripping head to toe.

Anyway back to eating normally, getting full up on like the smallest meals though.

My cars in the garage, had some issues, and Iím using it to drive 100+ miles a day to my client at work - so had to be fixed. Hoping itís not too expensive but will report back. Feeling ok today

    Thanks all

£320 for the car repairs Iíd have scrapped it but Iím going to be driving to client until year end at least and the trains awful to there. If I sold the car it would mean staying in a hotel Monday to Friday which I donít wanna do, it honestly just ruins my mental state when I do that.

Regardless I feel Iíve made the right choice and I will just have to be super tight on next months budget.

On another note feeling much better, no the ex has not got the hint she called me crying. I feel like after being in hospital I’ve gained a bigger conscience so I just feel really guilty which doesn’t help if I start pandering to her and give her false hope.

I bought some Tropicana today, £2.50 which I feel bad for. I didn’t ask myself if I needed it I just impulse bought it.
