Housing benefit 12th Oct 17 at 10:31 PM
Partner works 9 hours a week and I claim ESA SG (CB). Our income per week is lower than the government amount we need to live on (£310 per week), so therefore get full HB. Also have two young children.

If I manage to get a part time work (with my disabilities and capabilities), of say 25 hours, I would come off ESA.

    Would I still get full HB (9 + 25 = 34 hours)?

The working wage would be less than government amount.

    Thanks

Put your details into this, and it will tell you. These calculators are coorrect if you put all the correct info in.

If joint hours are less than 30, I wouldn't get WTC disability, that also applies to enhanced disability premium and ESA support component. I guess working part time hours, would mean paying more rent?
