My 90 year old mother has a Plusnet package (paid by DD), with broadband that she never uses. Anyone like to recommend a cheap basic line-rental-with-some-calls-package to replace her current one?

It's worth checking if she is eligible for BT Basic. It's £5.10 per month, which includes line rental and a £1.50 call allowance.
