IPC and BPA member UKCPS? 9th Oct 17 at 7:59 PM
Hi all, hopefully a quick question. I'm trying to work out what way to appeal or ignore a NTK I've received from UKCPS.
the letter has both IPC and BPA logos at the bottom, so I'm confused which way to go.
It was for a 2 hour free parking at Iceland (Reading)
I was 2 hrs 2 mins according to the letter! Is there a separate way of arguing I was using that time to get a space, or queuing to get out the car park??
    Thanks in advance.

A logo enclosed in an oblong box indicates a corporate style membership, ie they get updates on recent parking policy, information on parking issues, invites to parking-related functions etc.

A logo enclosed in a roundel is the ‘dangerous’ one for motorists. This means they have access to DVLA registered keeper details.

UKCPS is an IPC member for purposes of DVLA access.
We cannot provide you with a silver bullet to get you out of this. You have to be in for the long run, and need to involve yourself in research and work for you to get rid of this. It is not simple. We will help, but can't do it for you.

Please read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then send the IPC template in black you will find there.

The NEWBIES explains what to do if/when the scammers reject your appeal.

What happened when you complained to the Iceland manage/CEO?

Don't forget to complain to your MP as well about this unregulated scam industry.

The advice to ignore has not been given on this forum since the law changed in 2012.

With the BPA there is a grace period but with the IPC, they

The IPC/IAS scam was set up by Gladstones solicitors who
are well known to be incompetent.
The IAS appeal is not suggested as it is loaded towards

To answer your question, driving in and looking for a space, and then driving out and queuing/waiting to exit are arguments you'd use - you were not "parked" for over 2 hours then.
I take it they were cameras so it's 2 hours 2 mins between time of entry and exit?

    Yeah, exactly that,
    Time on first entry 14:02
Time last seen on exit 16:04
So I'll appeal to them first and wait for a rejection I suppose.
