can't watch video on laptop 7th Oct 17 at 5:47 PM
I've been sent a video but it's in 4K and my laptop - lenovo G550 won't display it properly, the picture keeps breaking up.

Is there anything I can do to make it work, or do I need a new laptop?

What would be a good cheap laptop that would work?

    I use VLC player

Lets say you have a file called 4KVideo.mp4. To rescale it to the native resolution of your laptop, you'd run the following command, which would create the output file SmallVideo.mp4:

    Code:
    ffmpeg -i 4KVideo.mp4 -vf scale=1336:768 SmallVideo.mp4
It works with many file types other than mp4.
