Capital One Subprime - Maximum Limit 4k? 7th Oct 17 at 10:55 AM
Anyone know the maximum limit for the Capital One sub-prime cards (e.g. Classic, Classic Complete, 'Platinum' etc) - basically every card that isn't on their site as needing a good credit rating (which is just the 0% BT one at the moment).

I've asked, several times, in several different ways, what the maximum limit is - can't seem to get any sense out of them!!

I've hit 4k, and it says I've reached the maximum for my card. But when I had a card @ £500 (1 x £3.5k, 1 x £500) it also said the same on that £500, which obviously isn't correct.

So I've reached the maximum for my profile rather than card.... My question is whether the £4k limit is based on my circumstances, so will eventually go up - or whether it's a hard £4k limit until you qualify (and open) the 'excellent credit' range of cards??

Anyone got any higher than £4k combined on Cap1 with the adverse/sub-prime/credit building range?

More out of curiosity than anything - although if it could go above 4k, I'd open a lower interest one and transfer (consolidate) the lot to that! - 'just incase' as they say....
