    With the lack of support from BT Openreach, some customers are lucky to even get their problem investigated in a month let alone resolved

    My personal opinion will be it'll be hard to prove that you aren't getting the speeds promised and certainly Vodafone insist you use an Ethernet cable to get the best guaranteed speeds. In reality this doesn't work.

    don't all the major providers already do this?

    I mean guaranteed speeds were given on all the sign up checks I done very recently.

    and all the contracts give the option to leave penalty free if these guaranteed speeds aren't met.
