Question about having 2 flexible ISAS 6th Oct 17 at 11:46 AM
I have 2 flexible ISAS opened this year. If I pay £20K into ISA 1 and £0 into ISA 2 can I withdraw £10K from ISA 1 and put it into ISA2 at a later date? Or does the £20 K paid into ISA stick, leaving me £0 allowance in the second. Even though I could withdraw from ISA1 and pay it back in without affect the allowance.

You have to keep all current year subscriptions together anyway so once you put the £20K into ISA 1 then it can't be partially shifted to ISA 2 during this tax year (even via withdrawal/payment rather than transfer), but you could potentially do so next tax year. Not sure what you're trying to achieve though - are both ISAs the same type?

Yes, looks like the answer is no. From here; http://www.tisa.uk.com/slides/542_542_FlexibleISApptxv5v1.pdf
    "
    Replacement subscriptions
Must be made in the same tax year and to the same account from which the withdrawal
    was made."

Flexibility only allows withdrawal and replacement within an individual ISA.
