Cree card or overdraft when close to mortgage application 5th Oct 17 at 8:03 AM
    Hi guys,

After a month of unexpected costs I have a 1000 credit card bill due for payment. We will be applying for a mortgage in the next month or so and was wondering if it's best to pay the cc in full and work ny way out of overdraft over the next month. Or pay off the cc what I can and pay the rest the folllowing month?

What's best on the credit rating? Interest on overdraft is lower than cc but does the bank need to see I've been in the negative so close to increasing the mortgage?

Little difference at this stage. Clear the card to save interest.

Dont worry about the rating, the history is what lenders see.
Can people stop loaning money/being a guarator to family/friends, it rarely ends well and you lose out as your money is gone or you get shafted with being a guarantor.
