    Everyone's a Winner 4th Oct 17 at 9:36 AM
First off, I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who takes the time and effort to post competition and the answers.

Like most other keen compers, I win a lot of stuff I neither need nor want. All my unwanted prizes go into a big box and each year I donate it to charity.

This year the box of goodies was donated to StrayAid, a small dog and cat rehoming charity, for them to add to their online auction.

The content are worth well over £500, so to all those who post comps, you have helped feed and pay for veterinary treatment for stay dogs and cats.

Thank you from me and the dogs and cats.

Winnings to date (from Sep 2013) = £8009

That's awesome! I do the same, although I haven't won as much as you A lot of the animal stuff goes to my local rescue, and have donated prizes for their raffles too. It feels great!
I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!

Lovely idea, and a good way to support smaller charities who need funding to carry on their good work.

    What a great idea!

I have never won stuff I don't want as I only enter comps for things I would like or know my friends and family would like but I think maybe I should also start entering for other things now.

I would like to help animal charities too - I can't afford to donate and don't have time to volunteer so this sounds like a good alternative way to do my bit!

I also donate prizes to local animal charities & must say it's a great way to help for them all,
I recently won £50 of dog food that was very welcomed by our local one,
    keep up the great work
'What day is it?' asked Pooh 'It's today' squeaked Piglet, 'My favorite day' said Pooh
As the old saying goes, dogs/cats are not just for Christmas,
please take time to understand how much commitment is needed before taking one on or buying/giving one for a christmas present x
