Return of Credit on Prepayment Card/Key 3rd Oct 17 at 6:53 PM
On 25th September, prior to switching energy company, I rang British Gas to enquire whether, if I had any credit on my prepayment card/key, I would be reimbursed the credit when my new supply commenced. I was informed I would be credited. Today I have received a letter saying my old energy supply will cease on 12/10/17 and that I should use up any credit as I might lose if it I don't. I have nearly £45 on my gas card and £20 on electric key, no way can I use this amount up in a week. Where do I stand?
