if its an actual LBC, rebut it by reading post #2 of the NEWBIES sticky thread

if its actually a DCA letter chasing payment , ignore it , debt collectors are powerless

see the BMPA zendesk for help with any letter identification etc

is it Total Parking Solutions Ltd ?

if so they should have replied and given a popla code, so report them to the BPA with copies of all paperwork (see the NEWBIES sticky thread)

Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se

    ie:- BOTH

anytime you receive an invoice for an alleged debt the claimant has 6 years to issue a court case, which should be an LBC (LBA , pre-court notice) followed by an MCOL from Northampton

so this has been the case since the day it happened and the day you were notified about the alleged debt

ie:- it hasnt changed, the threat has always been there (even if it was an unpaid bill for a new part to be fitted in your boiler by a local gas safe plumber)

I've had letters from I E LEGAL Solicitors threatening court action.
Use as your template example to adapt, the response to LBCCC linked in the NEWBIES thread post #2, the one from Daniel san's thread. Or just look at Daniel san's thread - it was only yesterday and it has the exact style of reply needed, now we are past 1st October.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
