Car test days 29th Sep 17 at 11:41 PM
Where do you go to test car following changes you make?

A bit expensive to pay £150 for a track day not considering other costs to find out something is wrong with the car and waste rest of the day

Is there a way to go somewhere like airfield which is cheap and one can test his car?

You go to a track and test it there. That way you're somewhere safe where there are fire marshals and an ambulance for if it all goes wrong, plenty of run off area and the surface is similar to what you're going to be competing on.

Old airfields tend to have lousy old knackered concrete surfaces and more abrasive too so any changes which may show an improvement on there may actually be detrimental on a tarmac surface.

    Thanks

I am ringing around to find a place

    Interesting question,
I have printed my name on a number plate which will be on the drift car. It is not a legal number plate or registered

I suppose you won't get pulled over by the police if the number plate is on the car been on trailer and not touching the road??

    What do you guys think?

You can put whatever you like on a car on a trailer. The trailer itself must clearly and obviously have the tow-car's plate on it.

Whilst you can stick what you like on your drift car on a trailer it may get you pulled to the boys in blue to check its not stolen.
