Mortgage after IVA 28th Sep 17 at 6:02 PM
    Help please!

I've just been declined for a mortgage by Halifax because I was in an IVA which I successfully exited in 2014!

Can anybody that has been in an IVA and has successfully got a mortgage afterwards please tell me their lender or a broker they used?

    Many thanks

    Hi,

Maybe best posting on the mortgage boards or Debtfree wannabe as they are more frequently used than this one.

Yes we got one through a broker, at a good rate a year after IVA finished in December last year.
Use a broker...we have ours with Barclays/Woolwhich at reasonable rates
