FTB getting Home Mover Mortgage 15th Sep 17 at 11:09 PM
Just a quick question really - I am a FTB but I want to get a home mover mortgage - is this allowed?

I know the incentives are generally better with a FTB mortgage but I have found one I like as a home mover scheme.

Also, how long are lenders taking at confirming applications at the moment?
    Thanks in advance!

The term first time buyer sometimes is just to promote higher loan to value products, such as at 95%. If you have a greater level of deposit, then there is nothing stopping you from accessing rates available to others who are currently home owners. In terms of your second question, it is impossible to say as processes vary from lender to lender.

Thank you for such a quick response, appreciate it!

It opens up so many more products to me, which is great.

Don't read too much into the terminology shown on comparison sites.

Just get yourself some good advice.
