Halifax Clarity Card 13th Sep 17 at 1:29 PM
When using the Clarity card in Europe, I'm asked by the machine if I wish to pay in Euros or Sterling. Which is better? Thanks

Always choose euros, to have your card make the conversion at the MasterCard rate, not the merchant or ATM at their scam DCC exchange rate.

As above, ALWAYS pay abroad in Euros for cash and purchases. Then pay off the cash withdrawal as soon as possible.
